【摘要】:Theoilinatwo-stroke-cyclegasolineengineiseithermixedwiththefuelpriortouseorismeteredintothefuelsupplyat,oratsomepointpriorto,itspassageintotheenginecrankcase.Thepossibilityoftheamountofoilactuallypresentintheenginebeinglessthanoptimumalwaysexists.Also,withsomeoilmeteringsystemsshortperiodsofoperationwithlessoilthandesirablecanoccurwhenthepowerisincreasedsuddenly.Ithasalsobeenfoundthattheincidenceofpistonscuffearlyinthelifeoftheenginemayberelatedtothelubricityoftheoilusedasdefinedbytestproceduresofthistype.1.1Thistestmethodevaluatestheabilityoflubricantstominimizepistonandborescuffingintwo-stroke-cyclespark-ignitiongasolineengines.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsarethestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.
