【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofcarbonatecontentofsoilsandsoftrockwhichcanbereadilybrokendownbymechanicaleffort.Itisagasometricmethodthatutilizesasimpleportableapparatus.Resultsshouldbeclearlystatedasthecalciteequivalentinpercentbecausedifferentcarbonatespeciescoverawiderangeofpercentcalciteequivalentasshownbelowforanumberofcarbonates:Forexample,a100%dolomitewouldbeexpectedtoyield108.6%calciteequivalentwhile100%sideritewouldyieldonly86.4%calciteequivalent.Calciteandaragonitereactionswilltypicallycompletewithinabout10min.Thismethoddoesnotdistinguishbetweenthecarbonatespeciesandsuchdeterminationmustbemadeusingquantitativechemicalanalysismethodssuchasatomicabsorption.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.3AllobservedandcalculatedvaluesshallconformtotheguidelinesforsignificantdigitsandroundingestablishedinPracticeD6026.1.4Themethodusedtospecifyhowdataarecollected,calculated,orrecordedinthisstandardisnotdirectlyrelatedtotheaccuracytowhichthedatacanbeappliedindesignorotheruses,orboth.Howoneappliestheresultsobtainedusingthisstandardisbeyonditsscope.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificprecautionstatements,seeSection8.
