【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardestablishestheratingofliquidspark-ignitionenginefuelintermsofanarbitraryscaleofoctanenumbersusingastandardsingle-cylinder,four-strokecycle,variablecompressionratio,carburetted,CFRengineoperatedatconstantspeed.Researchoctanenumber(RON)providesameasureoftheknockcharacteristicsofmotorfuelsinautomotiveenginesundermildconditionsofoperation.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicablefortheentirescalerangefrom0RONto120RON,buttheworkingrangeis40RONto120RON.Typicalmotorfueltestingisintherangeof88RONto101RON.ThisInternationalStandardcanbeusedforoxygenate-containingfuelscontainingupto4,0%(m/m)oxygen.Certaingasesandfumes,suchashalogenatedrefrigerantsusedinair-conditioningequipment,thatcanbepresentintheareawheretheCFRengineislocated,mayhaveameasurableeffectontheRONrating.ElectricalpowertransientvoltageorfrequencysurgesordistortioncanaffectRONratings.NOTE1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesoperatingconditionsinSIunitsbutenginemeasurementsarespecifiedininch-poundunitsbecausethesearetheunitsusedinthemanufactureoftheequipment,andthussomereferencesinthisInternationalStandardincludetheseunitsinparenthesis.NOTE2ForthepurposesofthisInternationalStandard,theexpressions"%(m/m)"and"%(V/V)"areusedtorepresentthemassandvolumefractionsofamaterial,respectively.
